you were the communications director for santorum an underdog in pennsylvania. what do you think is going on in the romney campaign as they see polls that show romney slightly behind? >> what we're seeing all your guys have been talking with jim and john and joe and paul, they've been out there they've seen numbers and seen what's on the ground. but what we're going with is polling data over the past 24 hours where there's unsatisfactory feelings toward the president. and that bodes well for mitt romney in terms of the independents and undecided. polls are closing ever so tightly. the good thing is we've had more than 50 million voter contacts on the republican side. reaching out to not just the base but the low propensity voters and that's critical to getting out to people that ordinary might not have voted. we're making good contact with them and we're turning them out to the polls because they want someone that will do something about turning the economy around. they're not satisfied with what we have right now in terms of someone who won't reach across the a
